授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	This course provides an introduction to writing up research and presentation at postgraduate level. The first semester will concentrate on developing a critical stance when writing a literature review Students will write a critical review of a research paper or a book at the end of the semester  In the second semester, the focus is on the structure of a research report and the elements therein. Students will also practice the language and the skills necessary to write the different sections of a research report. By the end of the course, students should  be more familiar with conventions of research report writing and should begin to develop their own voice
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Through a combination of teacher PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, written and oral tasks, this course develops and gives practice in the strategies, language and skills required to critically read, respond to both orally and in writing, and write research papers in English. This class will be conducted face to face so please come prepared for social distancing on the first day. All tasks , necessary materials and assignments will be posted on Manaba so students can keep up if they miss a class.
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students are recommended to spend 4 hours per class per week on schoolwork outside of class studying. Assignments must be corrected after feedback and be resubmitted.
